Lorena from Chile
An enterprising and talented person who loves to travel, Lorena was born in Santiago. She graduated from 'Universidad Catolica del Norte, Antofagasta Chile' and is a qualified professional Civil Engineer. Even as a student she worked and taught mathematics and physics to college students and also worked as a hostess.
She enjoyed contemporary dance as her off work passion and later trained in Arabic belly dancing and is quite an accomplished dancer with many performances to her credit while travelling across Chile with her dance group. She is truly fascinated by the history of Gypsies, nomadic tribes which originated from Rajasthan in North India thousands of years ago and went onto the Mediterranean sea shores to shows their dances to people.
She plans to do some school project for village children, she also wants to assist in new surveys and putting up of new locations and project ideas while exploring the country with us. She wishes to do a dance performance in local villages and town to spread the message of eco-friendliness for local communities.
She decided to travel and reach into different cultures in order to open her mind to new ways of living and thinking. She is a bit shy by nature but her head and heart seems full of bigger thoughts and passions. She is an animal lover and misses her beautiful dogs Vilken and Payllu.
